Coronavirus Tier Changes In the Thames Valley    19 December, 2020

Following a government announcement yesterday (17/12), it was announced that the whole of Buckinghamshire and Berkshire will move into tier three of coronavirus restrictions from 00:01 this Saturday (19/12). Oxfordshire will remain at tier two.

Guidance on what you can and cannot do in each tier can be found on the government website.

During the Christmas period (23 to 27 December) different rules on social contact will apply.

Coronavirus guidance and information from your local authority can be found on the following pages:

Buckinghamshire Council
Milton Keynes Council
Reading Borough Council
Slough Borough Council
Bracknell Forest Council
Wokingham Borough Council
West Berkshire Council
Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead
Oxfordshire County Council

Thames Valley Police continues to protect our communities and we are patrolling and talking to people if we think they are doing something which is against the guidelines.

If there is a problem we want to resolve it by communicating clearly and encouraging everyone to behave responsibly, and as a last resort we can enforce the coronavirus law.

More information on this including how much someone can be fined, as well as how and what to report when you suspect someone is breaching the guidelines can be found on the Thames Valley Police website.
