2021-22 Budget for West Berkshire

Investment to Build Back Better

Budget

For the coming year our priority is to continue providing good essential local services while supporting our community during these challenging economic times.

Our wide-ranging Budget to invest in West Berkshire's future was approved at a full Council meeting held last night (2 March). The 2021-22 budget features planned investments for schools, the environment, waste collection, transport, community projects, and other infrastructure to build back better.

Council tax contributes to paying for essential services, and in this year's budget we have managed to contain an increase in the tax to just 1.99%.
