On behalf of AWE,  independent market research team, Social Engine, is now carrying out a research study to find out what is important to people living and working close to AWE’s sites and how they feel about the local area, as well as their views on AWE, the work that it does and its future infrastructure plans.

Social Engine will be out speaking to approx. 500 people in the local area from late May to the end of June 2025, including residents, businesses, community groups and other community representatives. In addition to the online survey, the research will include face-to-face interviews, focus groups and telephone interviews. The feedback will help AWE understand priorities for those living close to its sites and shape how it works with these communities as its future infrastructure plans develop.
